Wine Fest

Each year the village of Visan located in the heart of the Popes' Enclave holds a Wine Festival. This year the event is scheduled for January 23, 2010. The Brotherhood of Saint Vincent in Visan has been paying tribute the patron saint of wine growers since 1475.  This is one of the very first Brotherhoods established in France.  At 5 pm tasting and election of the cuvee Marot 2009 and cuvee Saint Vincent 2008. At 7 pm the Diner Dance begins. On the menu is the famous truffle omelette not to mention some fabulous wines.
