Provence Pottery Fair

Argilla is the largest pottery market in France with over 180 artisans from across Europe. This event, which is hosted by the city of Aubagne every other year, will take place on August 22-23rd.Â
Exhibitors will be coming from Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK and it attracts approximately 70 000 visitors. Different techniques are represented faience, terre vernisee, raku, stoneware, earthenware and porcelain. Be on the look out for some traditional provençal pottery by local artisans from Moustiers Ste Marie, Cliousclat and Aubagne. For more information you can visit the website which has an English version www.argilla.fr
