Shake Shake Shake. Looking for some new cocktail ideas using the anis-flavoured spirit that was wildly popular with artists and writers like Vincent Van Gogh and Ernest Hemingway? Well there is an an APP for you with cocktails suggestions that range from easy to prepare, elaborate to very elaborate. It's a way of helping you become creative with the ways you serve up the spirit by adding whiskey or cognac to name but a few possible ingredients. Once you have downloaded the application Versinthe Shake your Absinthe from the Itunes store simply launch the app and literally shake your phone and then select a cocktail from a list that will appear on the phone screen.

Pascal Rolland, founder of La Liquoristerie de Provence that makes versinthe in Venelles on the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence, has been working with some "avant-garde bars who offer their clients this festive way to order a cocktail and transform the typical order into a game that holds surprises".
